Friendly and efficient hosts who are happy to provide early breakfast when asked. I particularly appreciated finding a heater in my room when I returned after a cold day out. -
Dislikes:
Not enough power points in my room - but mentioned this and am sure it will be dealt with.

"Comfortable, clean and friendly"
After spending the day on Studland beach we arrived at Sandhaven to a frendly welcome. Our room was number 8 right at the top of the house and John heaved our heavy case all the way up. Our room was on the small side but cosy, we would have liked a wardrobe to hang our stuff in but there was plenty of draw space. Keys to all door were given to us to come and go as we pleased. Bed was comfy with plenty of hot water in the shower. Read less

We loved the breakfast, big choice of every thing all cooked to perfection. Full marks.
Dislikes:
Just one thing, the kettle in our room was difficult to fill owing to the cable to the wall being to short and difficult to reach.

"Good location, very friendly hosts"
We stayed at The Sandhaven for three nights during a tour of south of UK by train. John and Martine were exceptional hosts, making our stay very welcoming. Our only qualm was the size of the bedroom, it was a bit small and getting to the en suite was difficult due to my Parkinsons condition -having said that we would certainly return (in a larger room, which we have already sussed out!). The breakfasts were very good and nothing was too much trouble for the hosts. Read less

"Great"
We arrived in pouring rain and were met by John and Martine with an umbrella and very warm welcome. Our room had a sea view and was spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed for our two night stay i.e. comfortable bed, hot shower, plenty of soft towels, tea making facilities and tv. We were pleased to find it was a brief walk to the sea front and the town and local restaurants easily accessed by foot. Plenty to see and do in the area. Read less

John and Martine have the perfect formula for making guests welcome. The breakfast was well cooked and there was a variety of fresh fruit, cereals, toast etc. available. Lovely atmosphere throughout.
